Merlin's Group is a family-founded technology company that blends hands-on ICT recruitment experience with modern AI to help more people with "The Right Stuff" get noticed and hired.

Merlin's Group started in 2019 as an ICT Technology and Recruitment company, founded by Zach and Phyllis Hurst. It was created by Zach as a legacy for his mother, in his father Neil's memory. That legacy lives on in MerlAI, the AI platform we've built to help job seekers present their story with clarity, confidence, and integrity.

For years we sat between candidates and hiring managers — reading resumes, screening applications, and watching strong people get overlooked because their documents didn't do them justice. We saw an opportunity to take what we'd learned and build a product that does things properly, first time.

Today, MerlAI brings together that recruitment experience with modern AI to interpret your background, highlight your impact, and format everything into professional, ATS-friendly resumes and cover letters.

We still think like trusted advisors, not just software vendors: our goal is to become the number one trusted partner for candidates who want their application materials to match the calibre of their experience.
