Overview and Responsibilities

Specialised Oracle skills are required to deliver on project outcomes and regular management and maintenance of our Oracle environment to ensure effective system performance. Specialist will be required to effectively perform - Maintenance of all Oracle databases, - Build/configure Oracle Audit Vault Servers, - Build/configure Oracle Database Firewall Servers, - Patch maintenance, - Troubleshoot Oracle problems, - Document Oracle processes Eg Standard Operating Procedures, - Advise on Oracle best practice. Specialist will need to have an NV2 minimum. Specialist will be required to work in the ACT.

Essential Criteria

1. Requires a Negative Vetted Level 2 (NV2) security clearance.
2. Level of experience – System Administrator / Database Administrator.
Exhibited technical experience in: 1. Oracle Audit Vault Servers 2. Oracle Database Firewall Servers 3. Maintaining all Oracle databases
4. Demonstrated technical experience in: 1. Effective system monitoring to ensure consistent environment performance 2. Troubleshooting Oracle environment 3. Patch deployment
5. Ability to effectively advise on best practice with suitable written skills to document standard operating proceedures
