Overview and Responsibilities

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support delivery of multiple projects. Resources may be allocated to other projects as required to support adhoc analysis or process modelling tasks.

Essential Criteria

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering multi-faceted artefacts for government programs and/or projects
  2. Demonstrated experience and skills in requirements elicitation and definition, business process reengineering and process mapping
  3. Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops
  4. Highly developed communication skills, including prioritisation, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building
  5. Demonstrated experience in technical writing and producing high quality documentation including requirements, guidelines and operational procedures
  6. Ability to respond to change with flexibility and adaptability

Desired Criteria

  1. Business Analyst certification
  2. Experience with BPMN
  3. Experience with EA Sparx
  4. Understanding of integration architecture technologies
