Overview and Responsibilities

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work within the AMSA business environment to lead and manage business initiatives to support AMSA's Digital First agenda. The Project Manager will be business focused, a strong communicator, with proven experience in stakeholder management and demonstrated skills and experience managing development and implementation of cross-organisational projects with a particular focus on business - IT translation.

Essential Criteria

  1. Substantial experience delivering business projects with technology change/impacts in a federal government environment.
  2. Exceptional leadership, time management, stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills and experience.
  3. Demonstrated working knowledge of change management principles.
  4. Project Management certification/s (industry standards).

Desired Criteria

  1. Experience delivering projects/programs that involved significant business process change.
  2. Experience delivering projects/programs that involve implementation of new online services for customers.
