Overview and Responsibilities

CASA is seeking to fill multiple positions for a large Cloud Services initiative that will transform the way CASA develops and delivers services to its clients, both internal and external. Separated into two major tranches you’ll have the opportunity to work across several key Information Technology service delivery areas contributing to enhancing and implementing leading edge technologies as CASA transitions to a full Cloud Services offering over the next few years. You’ll be working on uplift and transition of existing ICT capabilities to align with CASA’s Cloud first approach and building and deploying of the new Cloud only environment will see you working across complex technical issues and contributing to the realisation of strategic outcomes as part of the program. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have the ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including team members, product owners, project managers, and executives. You will also have experience working in both Agile and Waterfall projects and ideally have experience with to deliver design and research activities, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement as part of a large program of work. CASA is seeking a highly skilled EDC specialist as a key member of the Business Intelligence, Cloud Data Services team. This position requires somebody with good Informatica Enterprise data CatLog and Informatica PowerCenter skills. This Role will be reporting to the Section manager Business Intelligence and the Data technical lead. Our Ideal candidate is responsible for a)Designing, managing, and maintaining Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog tool. b)Design, build, and test deliverables for complex ETL process and interfaces spanning multiple applications. c)Development and configuration of Informatica EDC resources, data lineage, custom resources, custom data lineage, relationships, data domains, data domain groups and composite data domains. d)Execute standard onboarding of technical and business metadata into the Informatica EDC and future Axon environments, ensuring the population of data lineage and linkage between the technical and business metadata. e)Providing administration support for Informatica EDC and in future other data governance-related products (Data Quality) which includes installation, configuration, upgrades, and business continuity support. f)Management of data Glossary through the review of common business terms and definitions and continuous assessments to ensure data adheres to Data Governance Standards. g)Administration and management of Informatica EDC tool, user groups, permissions Configuration of Data profiling and data lineage Work with Data Owners, stewards and various stakeholders to understand EDC requirements, and configure it in the tool h)Participate in BI team to partner in work efforts, provide data management experience, including an understanding of concepts, practices, procedures, and tools providing strong analytical, innovative, and creative problem-solving skills. i)Participate in training sessions for business on enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and processes. j)Development of ETL processes for Informatica PowerCenter to support the addition of priority datasets into the EDW. k)Ability to understand data models, data taxonomy, and a deep appreciation of data standards and data quality Mandatory Criteria a)Demonstrated experience with Administration, configuration and management of Informatica EDC or similar tool including identifying resources, user groups, data domains, and lineage. Experience with discovery, tagging of sensitive data and configuration of data profiling. b)Experience in enterprise data integration and management experience working with Datawarehouse technologies and data profiling tools c)Experience in data governance activities - particularly corresponding to data lineage, data catalogue, data discovery, metadata management. d)Experience working in a dynamic cross-functional teams including business teams, data engineers and report developers with and ability to cross train client technical stewards on the maintenance of EDC as well as the scanner utilization · e)Ability to inform, interpret, assess, and deliver thorough analysis in both written and verbal form · Document requirements and produce technical specifications. Desirable Criteria a)Demonstrated experience in design and development of ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tool. b)Experience in SQL Server and Oracle databases. c)Python or R experience. Location Based in Aviation House, Phillip, ACT the Resource must work (on average) 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) between the core hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
