Overview and Responsibilities

CASA is seeking to fill multiple positions for a large Cloud Services initiative that will transform the way CASA develops and delivers services to its clients, both internal and external. Separated into two major tranches you’ll have the opportunity to work across several key Information Technology service delivery areas contributing to enhancing and implementing leading edge technologies as CASA transitions to a full Cloud Services offering over the next few years. You’ll be working on uplift and transition of existing ICT capabilities to align with CASA’s Cloud first approach and building and deploying of the new Cloud only environment will see you working across complex technical issues and contributing to the realisation of strategic outcomes as part of the program. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have the ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including team members, product owners, project managers, and executives. You will also have experience working in both Agile and Waterfall projects and ideally have experience with to deliver design and research activities, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement as part of a large program of work. As part of the Cloud Services Project team the successful candidate will develop solutions for cloud systems and platforms within CASA. They will have the relevant ICT skills and work experience, in conjunction with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement. The ability to work as part of an agile team and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders is also a requirement. The scope of integration includes system elements, subsystems and interfaces including computing, storage, networking and cloud services. Systems integration is used to create systems for testing purposes as well as for operational use by customers and users. Tasks include; a)developing organisational capabilities, processes and procedures for automation and continuous integration of build, packaging, testing, security and deployment b)building and operating a continuous integration (CI) capability when required employing version control of source code and related artefacts c)ensuring security and privacy requirements are an essential part of systems integration and build d)testing, validation and sign off of integration to satisfy requirements, architectures and design e)monitoring and controlling integration activities and recording and reporting on the results of integration f)keeping stakeholders informed and providing feedback into risk management processes g)developing and testing disaster recovery plans and applying incident management processes for major systems integrations h)Promote workplace safety, equity and diversity and participative management and environmental management practices in the workplace and act in accordance with CASA values and behaviours. Mandatory a) Two or more years of demonstrated experience in developing automated build and deployment pipelines b) Two or more years of demonstrated experience in working with a variety of source control systems including automation during build and deployment operations c) Two or more years of demonstrated experience building Azure cloud services solutions for identity, networks, databases, and storage d Two or more years of demonstrated experience in using DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI) environments e) Experience integrating code quality analysis, test automation and reporting into deployment pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps, Ansible, Tosca and SonarQube. f) Experience with migrating applications to containerised deployments between Cloud services environments h) Experience with Azure Governance to automate, and optimize the management and compliance of cloud resources including reporting and monitoring i) Experience in developing Azure solutions for integration services between disparate systems to integrate on-premises and cloud-based applications, data, and processes Desirable experience a)Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills. b)Excellent influencing and negotiation experience c)Excellent analytical and execution skills d)Ability to promote a positive creative culture within CASA Location Based in Aviation House, Phillip, ACT the Resource must work (on average) 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) between the core hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
