VET Data Streamlining – Quality Assurance Manager DESE is leading the development of a new vocational education and training (VET) data collection and reporting system. The VET Data Streamlining (VDS) program will transform the national VET data system to increase the timeliness and quality of data collection and use. DESE is working with partner state and territory governments and the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) to deliver this initiative through several strands of work over the next few years. We are looking for a Quality Assurance manager to assist with the technology aspects of the VDS build. The Key deliverables of the roles include:
•Plan organise and monitor deliverables to ensure quality program outcomes
•conduct quality assurance audits of complex project activities, compliance, security, software standards, documents and artefacts
•Evaluate and identify non-compliances with relevant standards, guidelines and specifications and determine whether appropriate quality controls have been applied
•Report QA findings and determines the risks associated with those findings and ensures that corrective actions are carried out
