Overview and Responsibilities

The Government Network Services Branch (GNSB) require two Service Desk Analysts at the APS 5 level to support various GNSB telecommunication solutions. These roles are being advertised for an initial period of up to 6 months with option for 2 x 6 month extensions. GNSB develops and supports the secure telecommunications needs of Australian Governments including the design, deployment and maintenance of ICT infrastructure to support the Ministry, the Intra-government Communications Network (ICON) fibre optic network and other Whole-of-Government initiatives. The Branch also manages and operates the server and network infrastructure that hosts the core services and line of business applications that fulfil the department’s output objectives.
