The successful candidate will be required to work across all functional areas of C1 including Business Intelligence and will be accountable, under broad direction, for the planning, design, execution and reporting of tests, using appropriate testing tools and techniques and conforming to agreed process standards and industry specific regulations. Specifically, the Tester will be required to: 1.Work within and enhance existing testing arrangements and processes that ensure the delivery of high quality software and systems for production use. 2.Document and execute test cases, scripts, reports, plans and results to measure and improve the quality of the software being tested; 3.Review and analysing results; determining the source of faults and working with developers to address issues. 4.Support productive working relationships by working cohesively and flexibly with the development team, the broader project team, key business partners and stakeholder groups. 5.Prioritise work in an environment with competing priorities using an understanding of interdependencies and the organisation’s strategic priorities. 6.Maintain a defect register in Team Foundation Server to record and analyse test results against software releases. 7.Other tasks as requested by Director Portfolio Performance Measurement in accordance with Defence outcomes.
