Merlin’s Group is an ICT Technology and Recruitment Company, founded in 2019 by family members Zach & Phyllis Hurst. Merlin’s Group was created by Zach as a legacy for his mother (Phyllis Hurst) in his father's (Neil Hurst) memory.​

Zachary (Zach) Hurst, our Managing Director, specialises in Project Management and Technology with over ten years’ experience working in the IT industry. Zach is a Senior ICT Project Manager by trade with a passion for innovative technology.

 

He boasts an accomplished background in Technical Project Management, and enthusiastically drives innovation and growth within Merlin’s Group.

Zach strategizes his time and focus to ensure he has breadth of understanding across the many technologies and disciplines in the ICT industry, ensuring he is delivering cutting-edge outcomes for his clients. Zach is multi-talented, boasting qualifications in PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, PRINCE2 AGILE, ITIL, and SCRUM.

Phyllis Hurst, our Executive Director, joins with a keen focus in Project and Program Delivery. Phyllis is a Senior ICT Project Manager with over thirty years’ experience managing and directing Projects and Programmes. She has an unrivalled experience within the ICT industry and leads the delivery governance for Merlin’s Group.

 

Phyllis utilises her considerable expertise and understanding of the work to determine the perfect candidate for each role. She is highly qualified, holding a Masters Degree in Project Management from Stanford University, Certified IBM Senior Project Manager and PMP.

Jen Smith, our Service Delivery Manager, joins with a keen focus in Delivery of Services and ensuring high Customer Satisfaction. Jen possesses an intimate knowledge of Systems Testing as well as Systems Implementation and brings this to Merlin's Group to ensure top-quality Service Delivery to our Customers.

 

She has an unrivalled experience with ICT Testing and Implementation within the ICT industry and is an extremely valued member of Merlin's Group.
