Overview and Responsibilities

We are looking for capable and adaptable Technical Project Managers to fill 3 x Technical Applications Project Manager's (Delivery) roles within a large and complex technology program. The Project Managers x 3 will be responsible for the delivery of projects or a group of medium-size related projects within a ROBUST Delivery Stream. A mix of Applications, Infrastructure and Security Project Management experience is essential. The projects will remediate Bureau applications using a variety of treatments, such as Decommissioning, Upgrading / Re-platform, Quarantine, Migration OR Replacement (to a lesser extent). These treatments may follow a set of repeatable patterns. The candidates may from time to time be asked to document the start up/initiate phases of the project, including discovery, planning, scoping, and shaping of project and then run through to delivery. The roles will report into the Application Remediation Portfolio Manager and will work with the Portfolio Lead (Program Manager), Senior Project Manager, Business Analysts, Architects, SMEs, and a range of key stakeholders to plan for the delivery of projects, develop detailed documentation, and execute against these plans. The roles will be expected to interact effectively across a diverse range of skillsets including ICT experts, policy development, technical writing, procurement and PMO functions. To be successful in the role the Technical Project Managers must be able to meet deadlines, sustain high quality outputs, marshal broad expertise towards common outcomes, and have a meticulous approach to scoping & estimating projects, along with a strong technical background. Security Clearance

At commencement: 1. be eligible for Baseline Security Clearance at a minimum and NV1 Security Clearance where required by the Bureau, and 2. have up-to-date police check with no qualifications or disclosable outcomes. Security Clearance, candidates are required to meet certain pre-screening requirements, including evidence of Australian citizenship.
