Overview and Responsibilities

The Digital Services for Business Branch in the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, is responsible for the development and support of systems and products for the Department and Government as a while. The team requires an experienced and motivated CRM developer to assist with the development of various ICT Projects. Specifically, they will be required to:
•Use a range of products to manage, maintain and develop the code base of systems.
•Contribute to detailed application architecture documents;
•Provide impact analysis of user/stakeholder requirements;
•Ensure that best practice and Departmental standards are applied and managed;
•Effective collaboration with a cross-functional team working with an agile structure - including a product owner, scrum master, business analysts, UI developers, architect & testers to produce a solution in accordance with user and stakeholder requirements and broader DSO objectives;
•Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholder; internal and external to the department.
•Lead and mentor other software developers within the team. The successful applicant must have three years of relevant work experience and a wide range of technical skills. Skills of interest include:
•Experience in the development of CRM Online applications an advantage & experience/understanding of Office365, Azure and VSTS will be considered favourably
•Demonstrated experience in the design, development and documentation and maintenance of Dynamic CRM applications in accordance with industry best-practice, internal guidelines and government requirements.
•Supporting and improving technical (development) processes and frameworks, including contributing to documentation of internal processes and best-practices
•Understanding and experience working with cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Azure DevOps, including TFVC and Git repositories.
•Good knowledge of development and security best practices when delivering ICT solutions.
•The ability to perform, collaborate and deliver ICT solutions within an agile team.

Essential Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience in the design, development and documentation and maintenance of Dynamic CRM applications in accordance with industry best-practice, internal guidelines and government requirements.
2. Experience in supporting and improving technical (development) processes and frameworks, including contributing to documentation of internal processes and best-practices
3. Understanding and experience working with cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Azure DevOps, including TFVC and Git repositories.
