Overview

The department is seeking the services of one experienced Program increment facilitator to aid in the planning of several ICT projects. These projects will be run as a program which is in early stages of definition and establishment.

Responsibilities

 

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of services to develop and support business systems and ensure continuity of digital services.

This will be achieved by applying the following principles

  • Apply a human centered design approach
  • Provide a pathway to continuous service availability
  • Take an overarching approach towards availability design
  • Automate where possible to minimise human involvement

The successful candidate will be required to contribute by

  • Facilitating relevant client program workshops
  • Synthesising and development of Program Increment Plans
  • Undertaking analysis, dependency mapping and insights via a retrospective
  • Introducing and promoting agile and new ways of working
  • Support and developing DevOps uplift engagements
  • Support and developing Enterprise architecture engagements

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the senior executive and program leads leveraging their expertise with the expected outcome of producing integrated program increment plans for a series of ICT projects. The program is seeking to adopt a SAFe like methodology, including working as a release train and adopting agile delivery practices that support delivery of business services.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in facilitating client program workshops
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of Program increment plans
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects using agile principles in a highly dynamic operational environments
  • Cultural fit for working in a highly dynamic environment with a multidisciplinary team of both business and technology resources
