Overview and Responsibilities

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to assist with a number of technical Projects.

Essential Criteria

  1. Must have current negative vetting level 1 clearance
  2. Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. Network/ Gateway , Client-server, relational databases, and Cloud web-based architectures including Azure and AWS platform /service/ solution offerings and security requirements)
  3. Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant IT Infrastructure Enterprise Solutions
  4. Able to adapt to changing environment and outcome focused
  5. Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company
  6. Good and effective communication and leadership skills
  7. Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company
  8. Must have Project Management Certification

Desired Criteria

  1. 3 years + experience in managing complex Infrastructure projects
  2. 3 years + of relevant working experience in a project management setting
  3. Other certification would be beneficial
  4. Previous experience in Government agency is highly desired
